Book testimonials -

“I’ve worked with Andy Horneman as a Music Educator for nearly 5 years. His keen ability to identify a student’s needs and spark their keen interest in percussion is exceptional. His insight into the process of developing a drummer’s skills transcends their age or playing ability. I know that the fundamentals, expressive ideas and inspiration found in his book will be equally rewarding to both teacher and student.”

Shaun Evans, Director of Music, Braemar College.

“It’s always exciting to see new training material for young musicians; even more so when you know the person behind the pages. Andy is not only a hard working, talented percussionist but someone who cares about the development of young musicians. A practitioner of everything contained in this book and a proficient and capable musician. Andy’s musicianship shines when he sits behind the kit; bringing his own personality and the joy of music making to all he does. And he’s a great guy!”

— Brian Hogg, Composer/Arranger, The Salvo Big Band.
